Everything seems fine to me. I think it’s normal. Is she on a fixed diet or does she have free reign of her food? My boy grew significantly aswell when he got older. And I think it differs from hog to hog aswell. |

Growing Hedgehog Has Gained 130 g in a Month- Normal? Hello, all! I brought home my girl from the breeder at 7 weeks old and she was 176 g. She is now 11 weeks old and was 298 g this morning. I cannot believe how quickly she is growing! She is nearly the size of my 1.5 year old already. Is weight gain this quickly normal? 130 g in 4 weeks seems like a lot! I know babies grow fast but this is significantly faster than my other hog! I just wanted to check and see if there is any cause for concern...she has a camera and is running nightly and is very active, she is eating a TON, she just finished quilling and she is on mix of blue buffalo/sportmix wholesomes. Thank you in advance for any insight! |
