Hey! As insectivores, they’re naturally not going to gravitate toward fruits and vegetables. Feeding them insects as a main part of their diet has become widely accepted, and I encourage you to do the same. Worms, crickets, and roaches are readily available in a lot of shops and stores, but there’s a variety of hedgehog approved insects you can feed! Along with kibble and insects, you can supplement their diet with fruits and vegetables if they like them, and also try cooked egg (no dairy) and cooked meat (no skin or seasonings); these are all common forms of diet variation.

Fairly new hedgie owner. I haven't found any thing extra My hedgies Ginger and pepper will eat except bananas. I've tried a variety of fruits and vegetables. What's the trick to getting them to eat other things other than kibble?
