|Lilysmommy||It should be okay for them to treat this - it's not a health issue that's specific to hedgehogs & would likely come up in other animals too. Hedgehogs are just more prone to skin-related infections because their quills create so many openings to the body when they grow in. Good luck with the vet!|

|Lilysmommy||Head to the vet. They look like possibly abscesses or something, but you'll need a vet to take a look at them & diagnose what they are in order to treat them.|

Red pimple sores
My hedgehog, Beau, has just had a bath and I've noticed that he has red bumps on his bum they look almost like boils or pimples. Can anyone inform me what they are and what I should do?
He is just over a year and has recently gone through quilling. Which I've read up isn't too unusual for his age.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
