Hey all,
So I'm the mom of lil Chloe, who I'm guessing is a bit over 2 years old at this point.
She's had a URI before, about a year to a year and a half ago, and had crust on her nose and we caught on pretty quickly that she wasn't doing well. Got her on antibiotics and she was back to her normal grumpy self within a week.
Recently, however, she's been sneezing a lot more than normal. Wet sneezes! She sneezes a lot usually, and always has (especially when sniffing around a lot) but these seem a bit different. She has no other symptoms of a URI though. She's in my bedroom and within 5 minutes of me and my partner going to bed we hear her start her eating/drinking water/running on her wheel routine, so there don't seem to be any issues there?
The thing that's tipping me off to the fact that it might be allergies is (and this may be super dumb) I'm allergic to every natural thing in the book and right around the time lil Chloe started sneezing I started getting mild allergies too.
So does it sound like allergies? Should we take her to the vet next week regardless? If it is allergies, is there anything I can do to mitigate them? We live in an apartment without A/C, so leaving the windows open isn't too much of an option unless we all wanna cook!
Any opinion is welcome!
