smhufflepuff I'd consult with a compounding pharmacy.

Compounding pharmacies have lots of experience turning pills into liquids and come stocked with a variety of flavors. Roast chicken and turkey have been the two favored versions with my quillkids. I tend to stay away from the strawberry or other fruits because they just anoint with it. The pharmacy will also be able to tell you if the meds will lose potency if they're mixed ahead of time (ie, if it's a bad idea for that particular medicine).

How to give a picky hedgehog medication?

I got a medication in pill form from my vet. I am supposed to crush half a pill and give it to my hedgies in something they like to make sure they get it all. Quote "something sort of liquidy" I have baby food to mix the medication in and my one hedgie loves it no problem....our other girl is so picky....she only likes mealies and her food....so we tried to suck teh baby food into a syringe with the meds and give it to her that way. it's just a giant pain....

can anyone tell me a better way to feed a picky hedge hog powder medication when you want them to get their whole dose???
