Can hearing damage occur in hedgehogs? So at around 5 am all of my fire alarms when off (it was just a bad smoke detector) and the sound was just blaring in my ears. Now I understand that if a noise is loud to you, it is too loud for your hedgie. At first he was burrowing around in his house then pacing around so I took him somewhere less loud. But these alarms were ear piercing, so loud that I had to cover my ears. Then that brought up the question in my head, can hedgies have hearing damage? |
