Hedgehog death
I'm so sorry. It's such a hard decision to make. But when it's all said and done, know that animals don't approach death the way we do. They aren't scared. They aren't emotional about it at all. All...

On thread :
Wet Cat food, Amount of Kibble (tbs) ?
Wet cat food does not need to be part of the staple diet, but many people do use it as a treat. I use a specific wet food as a treat twice per week because Fitzgerald loves it (so does my cat), and I...

Size of coroplast
It's the same formula I posted above. We can't give you an exact size because we don't know the dimensions of your cage. Measure the length of your length of your walls. Add the lengths together,...

A few questions
Normal. Part of the reason it's helpful to trim nails in a bath is because they can't really ball up in water. Those videos you see on YouTube of a balled hedgie floating in water? That's a hedgie...

New hedgie vomited
I think your vet can be trusted in this case. It really does sound like a classic case of stress and tummy troubles. Just keep your vet informed of any changes and check back for a possible...

What do i use when bathing?
As mentioned, the oatmeal is fine. It soothes dry skin. The oils nuttylover mentioned are good for moisturizing, too. The most common culprit for dry skin is drying soaps and shampoos and too...

A few questions

What type of bedding should I use?
Only kiln-dried pine. If you're going to use wood, aspen is a safer choice. Cedar is toxic. But all wood and paper bedding can harbor mites, so it should be frozen for 24-48 hours prior to being...
