Of course I will! He loves extra snuggle time!
Aww, Boo doesn't like the salad stuff either, and will only accept his bowl of dinner if there is apples in it. Otherwise I'll find kibbles kicked everywhere.
Dakarai is such a cutie! Hug him for me, mkay?
And in the near future Boo might be getting a mate-- okay well they won't be mating for a long while, but my little brother loves him and I told him that I'd buy him a baby hedgie if he could help out with Boo, and help care for him for 3 months just to make sure a hedgie is something he really wants.
Thank you! She's got the amazing personality to match those looks too!
Congrats on your new baby - with cages it's really the bigger the better, but its most important to fit a wheel, hiding spot or two, and good/water dishes with room to move.
And don't worry, my Penny is a very big girl. Keeping her at a healthy weight has been a serious battle and she's just HUGE. And the photo is a little deceiving, she's not as big as she looks there.
I actually just got my baby a little over a month ago. Dr. Labonde at Heritage Animal Hospital on the south end of town, and Dr. Guerrera at The Animal Doctor on the north end of town are vets that my breeder's breeder friend recommends. I haven't taken my baby to the vet yet- and hopefully won't have to.
I have 2 heat emitters on the cage (it's about 4 feet long). I'm hoping it will work well in the winter. I just recently put her cage in the closet which helps keep some of the heat in. I have a light hooked up to a timer in there so she is still getting light. It works well also for when I need the light on in the room in the early morning so she can't see much if any of it. And for when she's running at night and if it stinks I can just shut the doors to the closet :P
