Read over this sticky first - https://www.hedgehogcentral.com/forum...by-advice.html Make sure to leave mom & babies alone for 2 weeks. Change food & water once a day, talk to mom quietly when you do so. Otherwise, stay away from the cage & try to stay out of the room entirely. She still needs a normal light schedule & heating, so keep those consistent. If she has a wheel, take that out of her cage or lay it down so she can't use it. Depending on what food she's on, you may need to add some kitten food to her diet so she has extra fat to produce milk for the babies. Just add a couple kibble at a time, and make sure the protein is still 35% or less.

I'd recommend messaging Nikki, she's a retired breeder & much better at helping with baby situations than me. I just know the basics!

My 7 month old hedgehog just gave birth yesterday, and I'm not sure how to care for them. I didn't realize that she was pregnant
