Yes kotte means pinecone in current Swedish but it might have had other meanings in the past (one of them being 'little clump', or so I have found). I did some more digging into the word hedgehog...

that's okay :) it does take alot of time and patience to figure out what works best for you and your hedgie. Once you have a schedule (and stick to it the best you can) makes things alot easier.
