Default What soap?

I'm planning on giving Moyo a bath soon (in a couple days. He's scratching more and more, and I think it is dry skin.), and I haven't gotten soap yet. I haven't given a bath yet as well, so any tips would be appreciated.

But what soap does everyone recommend?
Also, can I rub vit E oil on his skin even if he hasn't had a bath? I'm pretty sure he doesn't have mites. It's getting dry here. Even I feel it (my lips are SO DRY). I also want to put a humidifier in his room.

Oatmeal baby soap is recommended. Aveeno I think is the brand.

I think you can use different oils (flax, etc) but when I used them on my hedgie, they made her smell weird. I use Humilac for dry skin now.

Aveeno Oatmeal baby wash is what I use. It's great. If you can't find it though, a normal oatmeal bath will do - just put oats in a sock and swish it around the water until it gets cloudy.

Also, I've never used vitamin E oil, but I've heard it works really well! You can either poke a capsule and put a few drops on your hedgie's back, or put the drops on an old toothbrush and then brush his quills. I've also used olive oil i the bath water, and it works, as well as flax seed oil - though I put the flax seed oil on my hedgie's food and rub it on her ears when I notice they're getting crusty. If your hedgie is like mine and doesn't like fingers around his face, you can put a few drops on a q-tip and rub it on his ears instead.

I've also heard great things about Humilac

Oh and a great tip for giving a bath - put a washcloth on the bottom of the sink or tub (or whatever you're going to bath your hedgie in) so he's not slipping and sliding too much. Expect him to poop - warm water stimulates the bowles so he'll mostly likely poop. And use your inside wrist to test the warmth of the water, instead of your fingers - it's much more sensitive to the temperature of the water. Hope that helps!!
