Our hedgie has some odd clumps of fur right above his two front legs. It's almost like 2 small tufts of matted fur. They are more yellowish in color, rather than white. This has happened within the past couple of days. There isn't any noticable scabs or skin issues. When I bathed him, I was unable to fix it. He is eating, exercising, and acting normal. Nothing else has changed. Thoughts on what causes it and how to help him?

Get a non scented baby wipe or damp cloth/paper towl and then wipe over using your nails to sorta pinch it just before, see if that can get it off. Pull it slightly but not much as you dont want to hurt him.
It doesnt look like anything too bad in that picture.

That was my first thought also .It may take a little soaking to clean it off.
