Default Pink patch on top of my Hedgie's nose

Hi guys! So trying my luck to ask people here because we dont have that much veterinarians in Philippines who cater to Hedgehogs, so here it goes.

I've noticed that after my hedgehog tormund had given birth, there was this small patch on top oh her nose, at first it was small but its starting to grow bigger, it doesn't look infected or anything and upon close observation and monitoring she's doing fine no signs of dequilling of some sort or excessive itching. Hoping to get feedback as soon as possible.

Can you post a picture? Could she be rubbing her nose on something in the cage & scraping it?

Hmm. That does look to me like she's probably scraping/rubbing it on something. Is there anything hard plastic in her cage that she might be digging under more than usual? It'd probably be best to wait for Nikki to weigh in on how best to help prevent her from making it worse - it can be trickier managing things with mama hedgies since changing things can sometimes stress enough to cause her to harm babies.

What kind of nest does she have? If she has an igloo she might be going in and out under the side of it instead of using the door, mom's often block the door to keep the babies in. As long as it doesn't look infected and isn't bleeding I would leave it alone until the babies are weaned.

Well as of now, she just leaves in a big cage, the only plastic there is the food bowl she keeps flipping over, im planning to move them to an even bigger bin when the urchins finish weaning. As of now she doesnt have an igloo cause I dont know where to buy an hedgie igloo here in the philippines. And I removed the cage wheel, so mom's exercise is walking around my living room (which the has no furniture only shoe racks). Im starting to worry, especially since I lost 2 urchins already.
