Short Video on Nail Trimming Techniques
Here's a fairly short video on some of the methods to trim your hedgie's nails. My hedgehog puts up with a lot of harassment, but for baller-uppers, huffy pokers, and temper tantrum-ers, some of these might help a bit!

So jealous of the personality of that hedgehog!!! Mine is getting much better. The last couple of days he let me pick him up from his play area without balling up or hissing or poping, and as far as I know the old owners were never able to do that!! Only took me a momth, I haven't tried cutting his nails yet they don't seem long at all, how often do you cut yours?

I lucked out. Finn's always been super chill. I usually do his nails once a month.

This video was so helpful! I gave my little a guy a foot bath and decided to attempt giving his nails a trim. They had gotten really long. He loves baths so when I took him out he was super chill. I used your blanket technique with a towel and he stayed completely still and let me clip his nails. Afterwards I let him eat some mealies, what a good day. Lol XD

I'm so glad it helped!

Salt&PepperHedgie sent me towards this post! Hopefully, I can stop the struggle with Hades and once Athena unballs around me I can get hers cut too!! Thank you for the video!!!! :D

This helped me so much with Ed!! He only really let me do one foot today, which is much better than nothing, but I am so thankful! His front nail was starting to curl under and I get so nervous clipping his nails. Thank you so much!!
