Default Clipped nail too short,help!

I was cleaning out floras cage and I noticed that her nails were getting long (she had actually just pooped in the corner of my room and stood in her own wee and poo so really needed a bath asap) I had her in my sink and I was cutting her nails as you do. I gave her a bath and as I was bathing her I noticed blood starting to get in the water,I looked at her foot and it was bleeding,I had obviously clipped too much of her nail. I got her out the sink and towel dried her, there was blood absolutely everywhere on every inch of the towel. i'm home alone right now so i'm kinda freaking out in what to do! I looked at her nail and it was just pumping out blood,I tried holding a cotton tab to it to try and stop the blood (if that makes any sense) so I looked at her nail and I've cut it far to much,I feel awful! I didn't even realise. she's in her bed now and has her heat pad currently being microwaved to warm her up after her bath. i'm in slight shock and don't know what to do? Has anyone had an experience of nails bleeding from trimming? should I just leave her and check on her in the morning? I want to keep her wheel in her cage but i'm concerned it might make her injury worse. any help will be appreciate! what do I do?

Don't worry, when you cut the nail too deep it tends to bleed an absolute ton. It'll stop on it's own eventually, but you can use cornstarch or flour on it to help it.
