Default Cloudy eye

I have an 11 week old pinto hedgehog. She's been in my care since she was 8 weeks old. I am a first time mom. I know that hedgehogs have bad eyesight and have heard of heggies that are partially or totally blind that can lead normal lives. I've not noticed any changes in her behavior, eating habits, or mood. She is quilling but has still been surprisingly sweet. Last night I noticed one of her eyes was very cloudy compared to the other. Just wondering if she is going blind or has cataracts. IMG_5650.PNG

I attempted to add a photo. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thank you!

Not sure it looks like a cataract. If you could take a photo straight on to the eye it would be easier to tell. If this just developed, I'd take her to the vet and have it checked out.

Here is a cataract.

I have to agree with Nancy. From what I can see of the image, it looks more like its cloudy due to infection than cataract related.

11 weeks seems a bit young for cataracts. I agree, a vet trip is in order. Even if hedgies can live a normal life with damaged eyesight, the eyes are still nothing to mess with. Eye infections can be very dangerous.
