Default Bump under eye?

Hello, my hedgie has a weird bump right under his eye, from what I've read it sounds like it could be a tooth infection but it hasn't really affected his actual eye, and he is eating and drinking water as usual but I noticed today that he had started scratching at it and I don't know what to do to help him. I can't take him to a vet cause he attacks pretty everybody but me, and I was wondering if maybe I should give him some antibiotics and/or eye drops?

Also it's kind of hard and when he scratched at the bump it bleed; could it be a tumor instead of a tooth infection? If so how could I help him?

You've got to take him to a vet. If necessary, they can sedate him to do a proper examination.

Welcome to the forum; I'm sorry it's under stressful circumstances. If you haven't seen it before, this is a lovely care-guide for hedgehogs.

Like Annie said, get him to the vet. If it's right under his eye, it's possible he could accidentally hit his eye while he's trying to scratch at the bump and cause more damage to himself.

Hello! So thankfully a couple of days after I first posted here, a family friend told my mom of a vet that treats hedgehogs, and we took him to the vet turns out he had a benign tumor. They kept him over night and did the opration to remove it and gave me some drops to help him heal, and a week later I took him again to remove the stitches. He is....doing so well and he is healthy and happy.
I am so happy we were told about that vet cause he was excellent, and all for a really good price it was $115 (if I remember correctly) for the operation including the anesthesia and overnight stay (He was so sweet and gave us a discount.) and just $15 for the stitch removal which also had to include anesthesia and overnight stay, I have a very feisty hedgie Thankfully the vet and assistants do not mind, anyways he is doing well and he is healthy and I couldn't be happier and I am positive he is relieved to not have that tumor anymore

Annie Thank You for the welcome and the link it's very helpful
