Default HELP... SWOLLEN LEG (struggling to walk )

Hi guys , so my baby here have a swollen leg , it all started when i leave my hedgehog to one of the hedgehog owner here that accept to take care of hedgehog while i leave for holiday , so when i went to pick her up , her nails seems to bleed , so i gave her some betadine ( usually used for bleeding wounds) , so after a week it doesnt bleed anymore but its kinda harden her to walk becoz I think the betadine just harden along with the blood , and after bath i usually trim it and try to clean the betadine that harden , so last week , i bath her and then trim it , i looks just fine untill I saw her few days ago , her leg is swollen pretty bad , and im really worried :" please help

The best thing you can do is to call around and find a veterinarian that is willing to learn about hedgehogs. For issues like these, infections, etc any small mammal vet should be able to look at this issue and be able to determine a course of action. The biggest issue they will have is with how much of a medicine to give. But their are drug formularies out there that they can get access to to hep them.
