Default new poop/ lots of poop

I took my 2 year old hedgie, Alex,to the vet for a check up last Tuesday. He got the smelly stress poos as soon as we headed there. That night and the night after made our room smell horrible! It's been 6 days and it's still smelly, but deff. not as much as the other nights. :/It's not diarrhea and I haven't changed his food or his treats, before the vet appointment he had normal non smelling poop. Should I take him back to get a fecal? ALSO, as a side note, Alex poops A LOT. I got him when he was 8 weeks old and expected the amount of poop he had. All the research I did/done has told me the amount should have went down by 1 and he should not be pooping 3+ times after I've woken him up to give him a bath and play with him. As an example, he poops while taking a bath, normal poop (not smelly or diarrhea) when he is dried off and running around he poops a couple more times. And about and hour after that he pees and poops. i just want to put him on my bed and not have to search for poo! Sorry this is so long and gabby!

His poop amount sounds pretty much normal.

Was this just a normal well pet visit?

If he had normal poo before you took him to the vet and it's improving now, it was most likely the stress of going to the vet. As long as he is eating, drinking and acting normal and it isn't causing him to be dehydrated, I'd wait a few more days and see if it goes back to normal.
