Default Suddenly Died...

My girl suddenly passed away last night.... she was perfectly fine before. Active, loved her running wheel, eating, drinking, pooping, peeing, all perfectly fine. No lumps or bumps or anything. I found her this morning, with some blood around and coming out of her mouth, and she was laying down with all 4 legs behind her...

I’m wondering if she had a seizure, or a heart attack? Anyone with any type of insight, I’d much appreciate it.

I adopted her from someone who got her from a bad situation, so her history isn’t one that I know. I originally thought her and the other one I got at the same time (they always lived together) were siblings, but I honestly think she was the mother with her young offspring.

The only way to tell what she died of is to take her to a veterinarian and ask for a necropsy to be done. Sadly there is nothing anyone on the internet can tell you other than to say sorry to hear that she passed suddenly.

I'm so sorry. If you really care about it, try to find out her history and consider how old she was.

I don't know what happened to your baby. But I want you to know that I feel for you. I've had a hog die suddenly and I just lost one to a battle with old age. It's never easy losing them. They're the smallest creatures and they take up the most space in our hearts.

Make time to cry. Let your baby know how much you'll miss her as she leaves. It's the best thing you can do for you both.
