Default Blood in urine?

So yesterday I took my little one into the vet because she had an abscess below her anus but where her quills started that was full of puss (I'll include a picture if possible). So when she looked at my girl she said that she needed to use anesthesia because she was nervous. When she came back she told me that she had blood in her urine & said that she saw the abscess and thinks that my hedgehog has a urinary infection. She also said that the infection & abscess were due to her being overweight. I'm going to change her diet after she's done with her medications (Trimethoprim / Sulfamethoxazole 0.09 cc antibiotic twice daily, Meloxicam 0.11 cc for pain once daily, Chlorhexidine to be applied on her lesion twice daily & Bene-Bac pro biotic powder to be sprinkled on her food daily).

Now heres where my concern lies, since she's been home I've been monitoring her urine & stools, they seem normal for the most part & her urine doesn't have blood in it. I was shocked when she told me their was at the vet because there was no sign of it at home prior to the visit either. I'm thinking maybe when they opened the abscess the blood from that might have gotten into her urine? Or maybe she got scared and it burst and she pee'd from nervousness? (making her urine appear to have blood in it) I didn't ask if she opened the abscess or not so I'm not sure if that was intentional or if it maybe burst when my girl was scared. Either way I don't think she has a urinary infection because she hasn't pee'd blood at home at all. What do you guys think I should do? I'm also nervous about the placement of this now open lesion because it is right under her vagina & anus, I'm not sure how to keep it as clean as possible.

If theres no blood and you've been monitoring it, question the vet about it, also ask the vet about keeping it clean, you could always find another vet and ask them for another opinion on it.
