Default Vitamin E oil okay for hedgie?

He keeps scratching at himself occassionally so I assumed he may have dry skin. I used vitamin E oil for him but didn't realize it had lemon oil in it, which is a strong scent. The care section of this website recommended vitamin E oil for dry skin though.

Is vitamin E oil (30,000 IU per bottle) with soybean oil, corn oil, sesame oil, wheat germ oil, and lemon oil alright?

It says not to use on animals, but the suggestion for dry skin stated vitamin E oil as a solution.

No, it is not safe for animals, since it's not pure vitamin E.
Lemon oil would be way too strong to use on a hedgehog and I don't know if it would be safe.
If in doubt never use anything with a scent near your hedgie.
I prefer a little flaxseed oil in her bath rinse water and a little bit on her kibble--just buy the soft gel capsules and prick one open and sprinkle it.
The label says not to use on animals, so it's not safe.

Regular pure Vitamin E oil is okay for hedgehogs though. Like MomLady, I just buy the capsules and poke holes.
