Default Purple Rash..Maybe?

I gave Brillo a bath today and when I put him back in his cage, he was acting very hyper and kept rolling backwards to lick his chest. When I picked him up I noticed a small sized purple/red rash (I think) in his right armpit with a bumpyish texture. He continuously wanted to lick it and he was biting his right paw too. Any ideas on what it could be and how I can help him from home?

Can you post a picture of it?

Update: It seems to be on both sides now and the skin is breaking a little bit. I'll try to get a good picture but he is *extremely* squirmy

Did you use any soap or anything to bathe him? What did you bathe him in? Was it definitely clean before you filled it with water for him? What did you dry him off with?

Has anything changed in his immediate environment, such as bedding, cage, cleaners, anything sprayed in his room, any new pets, new food, etc.?

I used a little bit of soap that I always use on him and it has had no problems in the past, and I'm sure I washed it all off; the sink was definitely clean. I dried him off with a little towel and no, his habitat is still the same.
It actually seems to be a little less red after I put some antibiotic ointment on it, and he is not licking anymore as far as I've seen. I'll upload a picture in a moment.
