Default weird bump

I noticed tonight while giving him a bath, there is a bump on each side of him. looks like it is pus bump. he has been losing quills lately, but not that you can notice by looking at him. is kinda hard to see from the photos.

It could be an ingrown quill, but from it pictures it doesn't look like there's really any obvious infection (e.g. red and inflamed). And there's one on each side of him?

Is he losing quills because he's quilling or something else?

Yeah, doesn't look inflamed to me either, from the picture. Is it a hard bump, or does it feel squishy? Personally I'd have a vet look at the bumps - if it's something that might grow, it'll be better to have it removed now when it's small rather than later.

It's odd that they're on both sides. Are they symmetrical? Are they nipples ( I have no idea where hedgie nipples are)

Well I think they are too high on the sides for nipples, and yes they were hard, but they went down immensly the next day, and are gone now.
