Default Strange black blob on skin, should I rush to vet

Noticed it yesterday while giving a bath to my almost 2 year old hedgehog, she had only foot baths for around 4 moths before that so I don't know for how long she had this blob; closest vet with acceptable hedgehog knowledge is 1hr away by car, should I take a leave from work and rush there or is it something that can wait until I have the time? Looks like something quill root related to me but that's just a guess really.

photo is high res, can be zoomed

To me, this would warrant the soonest vet visit possible. It could be a number of growths

I would get it checked out right away as it could be a type of tumour.
