Default Quill loss but not mites.

So I have a 3year old hedgehog named Nala. Around last July she began losing quills and I assumed it was a late quilling. It soon turned into excessive quill loss so I later took her to a vet (who I will never go back to) he gave her ivermectin orally and she ended up biting her tongue and badly injuring it which lead to her not eating for a week but thankfully she recovered. She only received the first ivermectin dose then I insisted on switching to revolution which we did. After 2 doses of revolution the quill loss got better, but not gone. It then kind of laid dorment for awhile then within these last two months it became extreme again and she itches a lot and had scabs on her face. I booked an app with a different exotic vet but it was two weeks before I was able to see her and in the meantime I was giving Nala a bath every 5 days and deep cleaning her cage at the same time, which got rid of the scabs and helped with the quill loss. Skip to the vet app and the vet did multiple different tests searching for mites but found none. She still prescribed a 3 month dose of revolution to use and also an antibiotic to prevent infection. Unfortunately since the previous accident with her tongue Nala gets extremely aggressive when anyone/thing gets near her face so I wasn’t able to administer the antibiotics completely bc I had to slip them into treats which she never ate fully. Anyways I just gave Nala the second dose of revolution and she’s still heavily losing quills. I’m talking like over 20 a day. I really don’t know what this is or what it’s from. She still eats, drinks and goes to the bathroom normally. No behavior changes. She has a good diet and temp is regulated along with a humidifier because my room gets dry. So if anyone has experienced something similar or knows of other skin issues other than mites please let me know! Thanks.
