Default Help- Super itchy hedgie

Hi all! I'm new here and have only had my hedgehog for a few months, so many things are still new to me. The past few days Bruno has been scratching pretty constantly during the night (only during the night, never during the day or when he's playing/cuddling). Thinking it was dry skin, I gave him an oatmeal bath a few days ago. I didnt see much of an affect on his skin, and he was still pretty ithcy. Today I gave him a bath with some coconut oil added (I think I may have added just a tiny bit too much), but he is still scratching. It doesn't sound as frantic as the past few nights, but it was still pretty constant. Could this just be the dry winter air? I've thought about mites, but the only symptom he has is the itching- he's not losing any quills, showing white dander on his skin, or any of the other typical mites symptoms. Basically, I'm just looking for some advice as to whether you think this is just from the dry air or if you think it could be something else. If you could please let me know what you think, that'd be much appreciated!

I would take him to a vet just to be safe. If he is scratching this frantically, mights are still a possibility. Just ask the vet for some Revolution. Do NOT use Ivermectin!!!
