Default Is Hartz safe for hedgehogs?

Is Hartz Ultraguard Plus:registered: Flea And Tick Drops For Cats an acceptable mite treatment for hedgehogs ?

I would recommend that you get a brand specially made for a hedgehog. I would use lavender drops behind the ears and a hedgehog exotics mite treatment for the ears and swabs to get the goop out. Hope this helps.

No that won't treat mites. You need to get Revolution from a vet. There isn't an over the counter medication for treating mites.

Agreed. My vet several years back prescribed me a hedgehog mite formula and a mazuri pack of food to try on my hedgehog that later died from WHS, it wasn't revolution but I bet rev is better. That vet hasn't been my best source of healthy hedgehog stuff.

Lavender helps repel most pests, I also use it on his fleece because I live on a ranch.
