Default Scratching Wound

Hello All,

My female Hedgie has a scar that she is constantly scratching or biting at near her neck and chest area. We have no clue how it formed. When she scratches it she tends to make it bigger. It will bleed just a little bit when she scratches it and it worries me. I am taking her to the vet on Monday to check it out but wanted to see if anyone has any advise or experience with this issue.I have attached a picture. It isn't the best but it gives you an idea. Please help with any advise. Thank you.
