Default Help! Hedgehog rash or something?

Hi, I'm getting concerned about my baby. She's just ten weeks old and I've only had her for about three weeks. I noticed a few days ago that behind her ears was really red and it just looked like she scratched herself. But it looks like it's getting worse, I took her to the vet and she said she couldn't see anything but she gave her a dose of revolution for mites but it still seems like it's irritated and spread further down it looks like she's also losing fur and I've noticed a bit of shedding. These photos are from before I took her to the vet I don't have any new ones but it's gotten a bit worse. I also asked the breeder I got her from and she said it looked like she was losing fur on her face Any ideas?

Could you get us new photos since it seems to have progressed? I'm not 100% sure I see what you're talking about and new pics might help.

I see it, and it looks more like a allergic or contact dermatitis type of distribution. I would start by getting rid of any type of disposable bedding, except a paper based litter in a litter box. Also, wash any type of fabric bedding in hot water, with Dreft, Ivory, or a similar mild, less-allergenic detergent, and see if there's any improvement.

I mean I guess it looks noticeably pink. The pictures really aren't clear enough.

This is what I would do. Either call your vet or email her with the pictures you have and explain what it is that you're seeing and that it's not normal. See what your vet thinks. If might be that a skin scrape and culture need to be done to determine if there is an infection of some sort.
