Default Cracked/ripped ears

(Was not completely sure where to post this)
When I got my hedgehog I don't remember her ears looking the way they do. I have have noticed over the months that I have had her that they are starting to look much more tattered then what they were before. I have attached a picture to give you an idea of what they look like. I would appreciate any info you could give me about what to do about them!

That's just build up of gunk on her ears. Rub them with a little bit of vaseline or vitamin e oil to help the gunk loosen and come off.

So her ear is not really ripped or anything like that? ( yay I'm so relieved!)

No, they really aren't ripped up.
