Question To Bathe or not to Bathe?

Prudence had very bad dry skin about 2 weeks ago. She tested negative for mites and so I figured that the dry air must have been making her dry and itchy.

I gave her a bath in aveeno baby shampoo and rinsed her with water with a tiny bit of olive oil. She seemed to dramatically improve after the bath and I did not see her itch or look pink for almost 2 weeks.

Yesterday, I saw her itching again. Her skin is pink and dry again, and I'm wondering if it's okay to give her another bath. However, I have also read on here that you should only bathe your hedgehog once a month because it dries out their skin. So what should I do? My instinct is to bathe her again because it gave her so much relief, but would it only make things worse?

I share my home with one, big, slobbery dog, a ragdoll, a blind domestic shorthair, a slinky tabby, one crowntail betta, a double tail halfmoon betta, and our latest quilled addition... Prudence!

Try adding some few drops of flaxseed oil or olive oil or coconut oil to the food 3 times a week.

You can give her a bath without washing her with this in her water :

I am doing it once a week if skin is really dry
