Default Sick hedgehog and no vet, someone please help :(

my little friend Mabaline appears to be a bit sick, she has runny nose, and sneezing, and not as much poop as I am used too. I have also recently changed her diet which was only natures variety chicken, and added Natures Balance Duck & Green Peas, and Katz-n-Flocken. She loves the new food and eats and drinks, but her nose has little drops on them, and she sneezed a few time. We stay in upper michigan, and our whole town just got completely snowed in, offices will be closed, and I am scared to take her into the shear cold, 12 degrees. what can I do for her until its safe to take her out on Thursday?

Get her to the vet as soon as you can. It sounds like she has a URI, which can quickly turn into pneumonia. Try to get her in tomorrow, if possible, but otherwise, at least on Thursday.

For now, make sure she's staying warm enough. Do you have a heating set up for her cage? What temperature does her cage stay at? I would bump the temperature a degree or two, maybe. Make sure she's also getting 12-14 hours of light to avoid hibernation attempts that could make everything worse.

Good luck, I hope you can get her in soon! I'm in Michigan as well, but way down near Lansing. We only got a few inches...and I'm still not happy about it.

Her cage is at 78 and stays constant, always nice and toasty. Do hedgehogs ever show sign of improving without intervention? She did poops in her litter a few minutes ago, and is pushing around her catball in the cage.

Respiratory infections in hedgehogs do not cure themselves. If she has a URI, she needs antibiotic and as Lillysmommy has mentioned, the sooner the better.

It went marvelously, she was a bit groggy but as soon as they started touching and rubbing on her she showed her true fury and pooped everywhere XD The vet has prescribed her 0.1cc of Baytril twice daily for ten days, and we will be returning for a check up as well!!! She is drinking, eating, wheeling, and huffing like her old self Shes sleeping in my hoodie pocket, once again thank you so much! ^.^ I appreciate it (hugs & kisses)
