Default Uri ?!

Hello
My hedgehog isn't active and hardly runs on her wheel. When i take her out her cage, she doesnt come out her ball. But her nose is runny, Could it be URI? She isn't eating too much (well not as much as my other hedgehog)
Im concerned about her health. Does anyone know what it could be before i see a vet ?

If her nose is runny, she's not active, and not eating normally, I'd schedule a vet visit. Those are all symptoms of illness and/or a URI, and those can get worse quickly and end very badly.

What's the temperature in her cage?

Its room temperature but I've got a hot water bottle for her. She tends to sleep under her food bowls though.

Do you think it could be hibernation?

"Room temperature" is too vague - you need a thermometer in her cage so that you can see what the actual temperature of the cage is. A hot water bottle only works for when she sleeps next to it - and it does nothing to keep her warm when she's moving around her cage. It can actually cause more problems (much like a heating pad) because once they move away from the warm area, the rest of the cage feels even cooler.

It may not be a full-out hibernation attempt (she would have a cool belly if she was attempting hibernation), but URIs are often caused by too-cool temperatures or a chill from a sudden temperature change. I would get her to the vet to get checked out for a URI & get medication, then get a thermometer and a heating set up for her cage to make sure she's staying warm enough.

Good luck! Keep us updated on how she's doing after the vet visit. I hope she feels better soon!
