Default snot bubbles after hibernation attemp

My little buddy went through a scary hibernation attempt 2 days ago. he's okay now, and I am keeping an eagle eye on his room temp and light. He's warm, but still seems a bit disoriented, wobbly, and hasn't been eating or drinnking much. he was super snotty this morning, blowing little snot bubbles the size of his snout.

What does the vet give them for this, and is there a home remedy for respiratory infections, of any sort?

There are no home remedies. He needs to see a vet soon as URI's can quickly turn to pneumonia.

The fact that he is still wobbly, not eating plus the snot bubbles suggest this might be more than a URI. I'd get him to the vet asap.

I think upper respiratory infections (URIs) are one of those vet-visit-NOW illnesses, because without prescription medication they can escalate to pneumonia (which is life-threatening) really quickly. From the archives, it looks like baytril is a fairly common medication for URIs.

Do hedgies occasionally have snot bubbles? O: Wonton woke up with it twice. What are symptoms of pneumonia?
