Default Slightly runny nose??

Sylvia had a hibernation attempt last weekend, but has been doing great since. She's eating and drinking and wheeling and definitely alert.

I've been watching her for signs of a URI of course but I haven't? heard any sneezing or weird breathing things. However she does seem to be licking her nose, which does seem a little wet.

She has an appointment with the vet on the 18th (that's the soonest they could see her) but should I be worried about this? Should I try to get her in before then? They do have an emergency department that sees hedgies if it comes to that.

Like I said nothing else seems to be off other than the nose licking.

Keep a close eye on her until the day of the vet visit. What temperature is the cage?

I live in TX and not sure if hibernation attempts would happen at this time. My house stays at about 78 most of the time, though I do crank it down a bit sometimes when I can't stand it. Akita came down with a URI this week and I'm a little worried that it came from my tendency to crank the temp down a bit at night so I'm more comfortable, but it never gets very low. Maybe 72 or 74. I thought it had to get pretty cold for a hibernation attempt.
