Unhappy Help!

So today I was playing with my hedgehog whom I only got a few days ago (Tuesday 14th) And I noticed he was sneezing. He also seems to be licking his nose pretty often also. Then I checked his poop and saw that some were looking like they were suppose to and some were green and runny. Could this be because I switched his Food? Or maybe to much water? Or is he sick? This is kinda urgent and I'm freaking out. He seems to be acting pretty normal other than this.

Also I would have taken him to the vet by now because I would never be able to live knowing he got sick and I could have stopped it, but I am to young to drive and my parents just think I'm being paranoid and overreacting.. I hope their right...

Any ideas on how I can prevent any of these symptoms or give me an idea of what is going on would be greatly appreciated....

It could be a number of things with the sneezing and runny nose. Upper respiratory infection is a strong possibility. What temp is the cage itself? We already know part of your cage is lined with care fresh bedding, it's dusty so that could be a factor in the respiratory issues.
The poo issue could be from switching foods, what did you switch from and to? How did you go about it?
All of the issues your hedgehog is showing could be major issues, or minor ones. The only person to tell you is the vet.

Well I read into it and some say the sneezing and runny nose could be cause he is in a new place and the bedding is making his allergies react. And I had no choose but to switch his food because I got him off Craigslist and I asked what food they were feeding him and they said they couldn't remember so I had to pick some up for him that night... I was going to keep him on the food he was use to if they new... I got him Science Diet cause I wasn't sure what all was good. But it is high in protein and low I fat so I settled on that for now.

Another possibility is he was sick when you got him. Especially if they couldn't tell you what food he was eating.

Sneezing and licking of the nose is a URI over 90% of the time. The chances of it being an allergy is small. The stress of a new home and new food can weaken their immune system and make them more likely to get sick. The green poops are probably from the change in food but if a URI is left untreated it can become pneumonia quickly which is hard and expensive to treat.
