Exclamation Mouth and Eye issue.

Hi There,

I have a beautiful albino hedgehog called Mr Squiggles, I have had him for about 6 months, unfortunately I got him from someone who was practically going to throw him out in the street during a canadian winter so I just got him and don't know how old he is or much else about him.
Last night while I was playing with him I noticed that the right hand side of his mouth was very swollen, as well as his right eye was almost twice the size it normally is and he was acting very strangely. I gave him some chopped up fruit and cat food.

He ate his cat food but left the fruit. I looked at him after work this afternoon and the eye swelling has gone down but his mouth looks the same, I am not sure if it has gone down or not.

If anyone has any thoughts I would appreciate it very much

It could be a number of things - tumor, abscess, infected tooth, etc. He needs to see a vet and be put under anesthesia so they can get a good look inside his mouth and see what's going on.
