Ollie hadn't bitten himself since this past winter, so I figured we were good, that he was done entirely. I didn't do anything new or different, kept him on his exact same schedule, food, temperature, layout, etc. He all of a sudden started biting himself and I didn't figure it was that bad. I was upset and disappointed that he was back doing it, but nothing too severe happened immediately. I noticed the skin on his neck was pulled up and he was dragging and scratching at his face. Fast forward 3 hours of me crying, feeding him baby food/water/softened food, trying to see if it was just his chin and he messed it up pretty bad, or if his neck skin was caught on a tooth. Parents came home, we looked and it's definitely one tooth stuck, maybe more. I took out his wheel and added 2 more hides so he wasn't bored if he decides to get up and move around. I've softened his food and he's been moving to drink 3 times during the day. I might bump up the heat just a bit, it's usually at 76. We're taking him to the vet super early tomorrow. Any antibiotics or other medicines to avoid? Last August when we went in for dry skin, they wanted to use Ivermectin but were happy to give me kitten Revolution instead. I'm sure if they have an alternative on hand they'll be willing to swap. Picture warning: some blood.

My mom and dad tried to help but we couldn't. It looks pretty stuck. I'm hoping that if they put him under they can get it off without too much effort.

Small animal specialist wasn't there today. We have an appointment for 8 am tomorrow though.
