Default I hit his face!!

While taking my hedgehog out for bonding time tonight I moved his igloo and left it in the middle of his cage. When putting him back it was dark and I completely forgot where I left his igloo so I accidentally hit his face against it nose first!! He didn't make a sound besides huffing which I would do too if someone hit my nose/mouth against something hard It's his usual running on the wheel time, but he's not out he's still in his igloo... I'm so worried I really hurt him since they are so good at hiding injuries. I'm going to keep an eye on him to make sure there's no swelling or bruising. I feel so bad I hope he's okay

We all do things like that sometimes, don't sweat it. (:
He's likely just scared, but keep an eye on his behaviour just in case. If he's acting totally normal tonight then you're good to go. With their bad eyesight, hedgehogs tend to run into a lot of things face-first. Not to say that means they are indestructible, but it does mean that they're likely tougher than we think.

Thank you I checked on him this morning and he ate and drank like normal and I was happy to find a poopy wheel haha I'll still look and see if he has any bruising but that's very true with them having poor eyesight. I didn't think about that
