Default Chipped tooth-should I take him to the vet??

Today when I got home I went to feed my hedgehog, Thor. When I picked him up to play with him I noticed one of his front teeth was chipped. I'm not sure how this happened, but I'm wondering if he was chewing on the metal that's in his house or if it is from constantly eating hard cat food. I'm not sure if I need to take him to a vet to get it inspected. He is a little over a year old and it doesn't seem like it's bothering him he went alon eating normally right after I put him back in his cage. I've read a lot of posts on chipped teeth and some say a vet trip is necessary and some say it's not. I'm worried about him and would really like some advice! Thanks!
