Default Attempted Hibernation

I live in Florida and as you know it doesn't get cold enough to use a heater. Hazel's cage was next to a window until I checked on her and saw her belly was cold and she was sneezing. I warmed her up and put her cage in my room. The problem is though that I don't have enough space to keep her there. Where should I put her cage?

I would definitely keep it away from any window. But it still needs to be in a place without much noise and the appropriate amount of light during the day.

Do you have a thermometer in her cage? Even if you don't have a heat lamp you should still know the temperature of your hedgehogs cage.

I don't have a thermometer in her cage but I keep one by it and her cage stays around 74 degrees.

If she's sneezing she needs to see a vet.

I know many people in Florida and they all have a heat source ready and at times need to use it. If you use air conditioning, you will most likely need to heat the cage as air conditioned air always feels colder than heated air even if it's says it's the same temperature.

I also live in South Florida...It has been in the 60's the past week during the night. I did get a CHE and since moving Sonic into his own room with a timer for his light source he has been running like crazy on his wheel and eating a lot more. I would recommend a CHE even for Florida residents.
