Default Help Hibernation attempt!

I had to move Twiggies cage on Friday, which the place did not have plug ins for heaters. last night she was fine, its been really hot the last few days so I thought she would be fine, well today was a little chillier and I was at work all day and I came home and had to go back out for mothers day and forgot all about her. well I came home and found her freezing! her belly is cold, and her toes... basically everywhere. so I immediately put her under my shirt and grabbed a blanket. we sat there for maybe twenty minutes and finally her heating pad an CHE warmed up. she moved some and uncurled her self and layed on my belly, and then she peed and her pee was COLD!!! so now I have her back in her cage with the UTH and a blanket over her. her toes and belly are not so cold anymore but she is still wobbly.... but she is also wheezing a little bit. what else can I do? how long before she is back to normal again? I feel sooo horrible I don't know what else to do... please help!

ok she is doing much better... she is walking, responsive. and I only slightly hear the wheezing now. what else should I do? check her every few hours now? I took her wheel out of the cage, she's being upgraded to a large C&C cage in the next month or so, her cage is really small so I just took it out to give her more space to snuggle next to the UTH. is there anything else that I should be doing?
that was horrible!!!

That's terrifying, I'm so sorry that happened!!
For now, check on her much more often because once hedgies attempt to hibernate, they are much more likely to do it a second time. Make sure you put a thermometer in her cage to monitor the temperature. Hope she's ok!

I am home all day tomorrow as well, so ill be checking on her all night tonight and all day tomorrow. how do I keep checking on her without disturbing her?
I wrapped her cage with fleece blankets and its getting to be pretty toasty in there. I reset the thermometer so ill get a proper reading soon.
