Default emergency, please help!!!!

i read about the symptoms of going into hibernation and that is definitely what my hedgehog is doing. He hasn't gone into it yet so I think I can do something about it. WHAT should I do?!?! please help me. He is getting slower and slower and is very wobbly. He can't even seem to get onto his wheel.

Warm him up. Easiest, safest way to do so is to stick him under your shirt and cuddle him for awhile. If you prefer not to do that, use a human heating pad, set on low, with a towel over it. Don't leave him unattended on the heating pad. If he doesn't warm up within an hour, call an emergency vet. Do NOT put him in water, and do not put him back down until he is warm to touch again.

For long term prevention & solutions (wanted to get the emergency answer out of the way first), you need to keep his cage at a warmer temperature. Do you have a thermometer so you know what temperature his cage is at? If not, you need one. If you don't have a heating set up, it sounds like you probably need one of those as well. The most popular and effective set ups are heat emitters and CHE set ups. You can read more about each here - viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4579

If you don't think the temperature is causing it, make sure his cage isn't in the way of any drafts. Also check his light schedule - he needs at least 12-14 hours of light every day, around the same times.
