Default Hedgehog lethargic, cold, and wobbly

I just woke up my hedgehog to find her belly extremely cold. When I set her on the ground she is wobbly and does not try to move, as she is usually very inquisitive and exploring. I put her in a heating pad and she is still and sleepy looking, I don't know if this is a hibernation attempt, or something more. Is wobbling a symptom of hibernation? What should I do to help her? Should I take her to the doctor?

Do you have a heating setup for your hedgie? Such as a ceramic heat emitter and a thermometer in the cage?

Their cages should be between 74f and 78f. My boy was an opportunistic hibernator, so his was up in the 80s and that worked just fine for him. Whatever the temperature is in your little one’s cage I would bump that up a couple degrees or so.

When they hibernate they’ll feel cold, curl up in a ball, and won’t uncurl until they’ve warmed up enough.
