Default Hibernation immediately after bath?

I've got a new to me, 8 week old male who I just gave his first bath and he immediately went into hibernation when I took him out of the water (as in I didn't even have enough time to completly dry him before he curled and became basically unresponsive). I thought the water was warm and my apartment's in the 70's right now so I really wasn't expecting him to have a problem. Is this something other hedgies have had happen? Tips to avoid this for the next time because despite how traumatic this was for both of us, I'm sure he will need a bath in the future.

Hibernation doesn't happen quite that fast, so I'm not sure that's what it was. It may have just been an unhappy reaction to having a bath, with how much hedgehogs tend to hate water. For future baths, just try to keep them to a minimum, double check water temp with the inside of your wrist (skin is more sensitive there, so if it feels too cool or too hot there, you can adjust the water temp), and see if you can find a good routine that seems to help keep the stress down. It may be having lower lighting, having a towel or something with better footing for him to stand on in the bath, etc.
