I'm not sure if this is the right tag to this thread, but I'm worried about my 9 week old male hedgie Baymax. The past week for 3 straight mornings he had a cold stomach which I fixed using a warm rice bag and kept him with me for a bit but this over the past 2 days he activity level has dropped and he's been more defensive especially tonight. Is this something I should be really worried about..?

Seconding what Squirtle and Artemis have said...
Your hedgehog needs 12-14 hours of light. Simple solution is a desk lamp set on a $5 timer from Walmart. Easy and no worries! You also need to purchase a thermometer for inside the cage. You can get one for $6 at Amazon or Petsmart. You hedgehog's cage need to be in the 75-80 degree range... and it needs to be air temperature and NOT something like a heating pad. I would suggest reading these stickies: https://www.hedgehogcentral.com/forum...implified.html https://www.hedgehogcentral.com/forum...ease-read.html |
