Default New (old) hedgie loosing quills

I got my Naomi a week ago tomorrow. She took to the change like a champ! Ate all her food the first night, stopped balling up at me ( except when I agitate her). She even eats out of my hands. This is all great, but today I cleaned her cage and found nine quills. She lost one last night also. So that is ten in three days. The bulb is still on. So I guess no mites. Any idea what going on? She pooped green the other day so it could be stress. But could stress make her loose that many? By the way she is a year and four months.

The bulb still being on doesn't mean its not mites, they can have the barb on and still have mites. Is she scratching at all? If she's not scratching then it could be stress of moving to a new home. Ten quills in 3 days isn't a lot so I wouldn't worry about it unless she starts scratching a lot. They loose quills now and then just like we loose hair, new ones grow in and old ones fall out.

Okay. She isn't scratching. But I did find two more after cleaning get cage today. Just lashing there. That totals twelve in three days.
