Default "Bald Spot"

Hi all!

What is considered to be a "bald spot" when it comes to quilling? Ellie has always had quite the amount of quills, and she started quilling about two weeks after we got her (6 weeks). Ever since, I feel like I see quills drop constantly, but I never see any new ones coming in! I'm waiting for her back to get full again, but it hasn't (Unless I just don't know what I'm looking for)

Attached is a picture of her back (most affected area) when she's huffed up. I'm sure it's fine, but I would rather heir on the safe side. Everyone means a literal bald spot when they say this, right?

* I know I'm probably over worrying, but I am also interested as to when new quills grow in?

From that picture, it doesn't look like a bald spot. But, I'm not 100% sure.
