Default quilling or mites

lately my 3 month old hedgehog has been losing quills. I figured it was just quilling until I found a bald spot on her today. is this normal for a quilling hedgehog or is it mites?

It looks normal to me but I am by no means an expert on this stuff. Does she have any other symptoms?

She has dry flaky skin under her quills and it seems like there is a little hole where one quill is trying to come out. Since we got her she had a little part running from the top left side of her head and about half an inch down her body. The end of the part is where the bald spot developed. She has a few new quills growing but most of the bald spot is just dry and blank. Besides that she has been pretty normal.
